How to Install
Find the location of the HVAC system
Locate the home's main HVAC furnace unit and AC coils. This is typically in the basement, attic, garage, or a utility closet.
Identify the direction of the HVAC flow
Determine the direction of airflow —identify where the air is pushed (supply) or pulled (return) through the system. Check the arrows on the air filter or locate the furnace and AC coils and the ducting that comes right after.
Note if there is electrical available
Check for a nearby standard electrical outlet (120V). The diffuser requires a power source within reach of its cord.
Determine the correct placement for the diffuser
Choose the optimal mounting spot on the HVAC unit or duct based on airflow direction, accessibility, and safety. Ensure the diffuser is secure and that the hose is straight with no dips or kinks in it.
