Traditional home fragrance depends on passive diffusion — the slow, uneven movement of scent molecules through still air. At the scale of a full home, that doesn't work.
Passive diffusion is short-range
A candle, reed diffuser, or wax warmer releases fragrance into the air immediately around it. Without forced airflow to move that fragrance outward, scent concentration drops off within a few feet. One room smells beautiful. The rest smells like nothing.
Plug-ins concentrate fragrance at the outlet
Wall-outlet air fresheners release fragrance continuously at a single point, creating a small zone of intense scent near the device and little else beyond it. That isn't coverage — it's a hot spot.
More devices don't create more coverage
Most scented homes run five or more fragrance products at once — candles, plug-ins, wax warmers, reed diffusers. Each has its own refill cycle, cost, and scent profile. None were designed to work with the air a home is already moving.
Whole-home fragrance requires airflow. That's the starting point for how EverScent was designed.
How EverScent works with your HVAC system.
Every central-air home has an HVAC system — the heating, ventilation, and air conditioning system that already moves conditioned air through ductwork to every room. EverScent uses that existing airflow as the delivery mechanism for fragrance.
The diffuser sits near your HVAC unit and connects to the outflow ducting through a single 3/8" port. Inside the diffuser, an atomizer converts liquid fragrance oil into a fine, dry mist at timed intervals. When the HVAC fan runs, that mist is carried downstream through the same ducts that deliver heated and cooled air — distributing fragrance evenly through every room the ductwork reaches.
One unit covers up to 5,000 square feet per HVAC system. Scheduling, intensity, and scent changes are managed from the EverScent app over dual-band WiFi.

Four steps from unboxing to whole-home scent.
Position the diffuser near your HVAC
Place EverScent within reach of your HVAC unit — typically a utility closet, basement mechanical room, or garage. Mount with the included adhesive template or set on any flat surface nearby. Plug into a standard 110V outlet.
Connect the tube to your outflow ducting
Drill a 3/8" hole in the metal outflow duct above your HVAC unit — the duct that carries conditioned air away from the furnace and A/C coils. Insert the included tube 2 to 4 inches into the duct. Fragrance travels from the diffuser into your ductwork through this line.
Pair the diffuser in the EverScent app
Download the EverScent app on iOS or Android, create an account, and follow the pairing flow. The diffuser connects over dual-band WiFi and stays linked to your network for ongoing control.
Set your thermostat fan to ON
Switch your thermostat fan from AUTO to ON, or use your thermostat's continuous-circulation setting if available. Steady airflow is what carries fragrance through the ductwork — without it, scent only moves when the system is actively heating or cooling.
The app controls every aspect of the system.
Schedules, intensity, fragrance selection, and bottle tracking all live inside the EverScent app. Open it from anywhere to adjust any setting in real time.
Create up to two schedules per device per day — so morning, evening, and weekend routines can differ. Within each schedule, choose one of three intensity levels:
- High 20 seconds on, 1.5-minute pause. For larger homes or open floor plans.
- Medium 15 seconds on, 2-minute pause. The default for most homes.
- Low 10 seconds on, 2.5-minute pause. For smaller homes or sensitive spaces.
EverScent is a closed fragrance system — only EverScent bottles work with the diffuser. The app tracks which scent is currently loaded and estimates bottle life based on usage. A 200ml canister typically lasts 4 to 6 weeks.
